To Our Valued Patients at Active Chiropractic:
The health and safety of our community is our highest priority. As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread throughout the country, I wanted to share some of the actions Active Chiropractic is taking to help protect both you and our employees.
As this situation continues to evolve, we will closely monitor guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and local health officials around the country. We will continue to rely on their recommendations and expertise to inform our decisions.
As a result, we are:
• Increasing the frequency and rigor of cleaning and sanitization in all areas of our office, especially higher-trafficked areas such as the massage and Chiropractic treatment rooms and the restroom.
• Based on the guidance we’ve received and the actions we’ve taken, our clinic remains open for business, and we’re doing all we can to make sure you feel safe, comfortable and welcome.
On that note, we want to encourage you in stating that we are a medical office and we do treat the sick and the injured. So even with the fear of the Coronavirus, or even if you are feeling under the weather yourself, we would like to let you know that you are still very much welcome to come in for your appointments (masks are available at the front desk). Chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy can actually BOOST the immune system and, combined with rest, healthy nutrition, and key supplements, they can aid in quicker, more complete recovery from illness.
We understand how crucial it is that we keep ourselves and our healthy patients safe, so Dr. Mike, Megan, and I (Dr. Anthony) have doubled our efforts to sanitize and wipe down treatment areas around the office. We have masks and gloves available upfront in the office, so please do not hesitate to request them if you feel more comfortable having yourself or your provider wear them. Of course, if you have any questions or concerns don’t hesitate to let us know. We look forward to seeing you soon and helping you stay live well and live active during this time.
A key component of warding off viruses is having a strong immune system. While research is still ongoing, the following popular herbs have been used for centuries to bolster the immune system and treat viruses naturally:
The 3 “G’s”: Ginger, Garlic, Ginseng
🌿🌿 Sage, Peppermint, Rosemary, 🌱🌱
Oregano, Basil, Echinacea 🍃🍃
